Review:

I'm going to keep this review short because after I've read Wicked I lost all my words and I'm rushing to read the next book in the series.

First I would like to start with the romance in this book. Gage Gage Gage Gage.... Ugh. I hate him, I'm sorry, but I do know that they will not last. Why? I can't tell you. But I just know.

Second, THE ENDING. Excuse my language to those who do not like to swear, but "What is this fuckery?" I am so confused but I am even more excited to see how this turns out. And because of the ending it just made me love this book.

P.S. Like I said in my previous review, Marshall just keeps getting better and better.

And now that Skyla’s love life seems to involve one boy too many, she must choose who to be with. If she waits too long, the decision just might be made for her.

Review:

Things are getting intense! And the ending.... I gasped.

I am still not of fan of Skyla since she hasn't fixed her problems and had someone else have to do a decision for her (even though I don't think she ended up with the right guy). In this book we also found out everything we needed to know about Chloe and her murder, and I must say I'm pissed off of her role at the very end of the book.

Putting aside the negative feelings I have, I did like this book. It contained a lot of action and truths that have been unfolded. Another good thing about this book was Marshall. Even though I'm on Logan's team (I hate Gage), I just freaking love Marshall and his character keeps getting better and better.

With Burn's ending I see that the next book in the Celestra series is going to be great and suspenseful.

Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it’s a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it’s a way of making contact with someone else’s imagination after a day that’s all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.

Review:

Tremble is the second book in the Celestra series. I liked this book more than the previous one because of one character... Marshall!

I loooove Marshall although near the end he's proven to be a little crazy, but this is a book so he is forgiven. He's definitely my favorite character in the series, which is not something I can say about Skyla. The girl needs a smack in the face! SPOILER ALERT! ==> I understand that you have to fake date Gage for protection but come on! I don't care that you might have feelings for him but you cannot make him your real boyfriend and still be with (and in love) with Logan and expect it to be the most normal thing in the world. I hate cheaters. wether it's in a relationship or in school.

I enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to seeing what the heck is going to happen with the love triangle and my dear Marshall.

Review:

This book was a good read but it wasn't one of my favorites. I thought that the book was really quick. In the first chapter the protagonist, Skyla, moves to a new town and BAM! she has a new best friend. Then a few chapters later she gets a boyfriend. I thought that the story should of at least take some time to develop. But putting that aside I did like the book.

I always like new and unique versions of stories, which in this case is the story of Nephilim. In this book the Nephilim are divided into groups instead of being all the same. The group that are in charge of the Nephilim are the Countenance and they're the ones who you have to watch out for.

I love the fact that the romance isn't too lovey dovey like many books and I quite enjoy the scenes with Logan and Skyla. The boy is beautiful and I love when they talk to each other by reading each other's mind. (Talking about both of them reading minds, I laughed at the part when they found out that they both had the same ability.)

Even though the beginning was fast I did like the book and the ending of it proves that many more things are going to be happening, which means I'm definitely going to read the rest of the Celestra series.

I've decided that everytime I read a quote that has put an impact on me than I will write it on my blog. So shall we start...

Quote

When adults say, “Teenagers think they are invincible” with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don’t know how right they are. We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken. We think that we are invincible because we are. We cannot be born, and we cannot die. Like all energy, we can only change shapes and sizes and manifestations. They forget that when they get old. They get scared of losing and failing. But that part of us greater than the sum of our parts cannot begin and cannot end, and so it cannot fail.

Review:

Put a world of merfolk, a prince who is sexy and is used to getting people to listen to him, and a unique girl who would rather die than to follow orders.... annnnd you have a freaking funny and cute book.

I enjoyed this book the whole time and I could never put it down. I liked how Anna Banks wrote a whole new version of the mermaid's legends.

The relationship with Galen and Emma was at first infuriating because it took them so long to figure out what the other felt for them. But their relationship between those two is so great and their little bickers are what I loved the most. Another relationship I loved was the one between Toraf and Rayna. Their relationship was definitely rocky at first but with the help of Emma, it turned out freaking great.

Talking about the help of Emma, the scene where it happens is too funny that I want to share it with everyone... but I can't. ):

This book was a great read and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun summer read.

I've already read this a few times, but since I just got the paperback version I am re-reading this book.

''You have until 6:30 to be next door, or I'm coming after you. (P.201)''

''I'd glanced back over my shoulder at Daemon, suspecting he was behind the flying backpack, but all he did was smile lazily at me. (P. 221)''
